Here are a few pictures from that day:

The removal process seemed much scarier than what it really was. They take a "saw blade" and cut through the cast, then they break it open with this plyer looking tool and then they cut through the gauze. The saw blade was not sharp at all even though it looked that way and the tech even let us feel it to make sure. They gave Kyla some ear muffs so that it wouldn't be as loud or scary for her but she did great. I was so proud of her. She was a brave little girl!!
She didn't know what to do with her arm and this is how she held it for the first few hours after her cast was removed.
She went for x-rays and they confirmed that her arm was completely healed and she was good to go. :)
